Ciara is a surrealist figurative artist based in Sydney, Australia. After completing her BFA at UNSW Art & Design, she has dedicated her art practise to exploring the nuances of perceived identity and the disconnect it can cause. Themes of dark and light, stillness and dynamism, understanding and ignorance are not just visual contrasts, but emotional and philosophical tensions she seeks to express through her practise. These binaries serve as a framework for investigating the line between what is seen and what is sensed.
